THE Dip HIV Man(SA) Study Support Programme is available online at the Learn@CMSA hub. It is an open-access programme, and anyone who wants to improve or update their knowledge of HIV is welcome to enrol. At the moment, it is a repository of guidelines, materials and webinars and, therefore, not yet CPD accredited. Please note there are no live webinars or interactive sessions as yet.
The study programme is divided into nine weeks, with each week having three professional activities (PA) to complete. Each PA will consist of the learning objectives you need to achieve for that section, some tips to prepare, the key resources and guidelines you will use to study for those objectives and supplementary learning material that can enhance your learning. It includes all the information in the Dip HIV Man(SA) Blueprint and Curriculum (available on the CMSA website under Documents). You can follow the program as outlined or structure your learning according to your pace.
Candidates who apply to write the Dip HIV Man(SA) in July 2026 will be added to an email database. Weekly emails containing the ‘learning tips’ for each PA (also available on Learn@CMSA) will be sent from 12 May 2026 to provide additional motivation. We recommend you start sooner if possible and work through the materials at your own pace.
