Make a tax-deductible contribution to the CMSA Foundation
The CMSA Foundation NPC is now a registered Public Benefit Organisation and approved to issue Section 18A tax-deductible certificates.
This landmark step enables the CMSA to expand its impact: improving access to quality healthcare, addressing inequities in specialist training and research, and safeguarding standards in a health system under growing strain. With the tax year ending on 28 February, we invite CMSA members to make a tax-deductible donation to the CMSA Foundation.
Donations of up to 10% of your taxable income are tax-deductible in the 2026 tax year. Any excess may be carried forward as a donation made in the 2027 tax year (subject to same 10% limit), with any remaining excess rolled forward to subsequent years

Launched in 2023, JCMSA is PubMed-indexed, DHET-accredited, listed in DOAJ, and already achieving exceptional global reach. As a Diamond Open Access journal, it ensures that the ability for authors to pay never limits publication. Donations support the Article Processing Charges (APC) Waiver Fund, enabling more high-quality African research to be published free of charge.
