CMSA Appeals Mechanism

PLEASE NOTE that candidates that wish to lodge an appeal against the outcome of his/her written examination results must do so in accordance with the provisions of the CMSA’s Appeals Mechanism Policy.  Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) are not made available to candidates for review in accordance with the CMSA’s Appeals Mechanism Policy.  A copy of the Appeals Mechanism Policy is available at www.cmsa.co.za

Examination Structure

Part I:
- 1written paper and a practical examination
Part II:
- 2 written papers; practical and oral.

Medals

The COULTER MEDAL was endowed in 1997 and is awarded to candidates who obtain excellent results in the Fellowship examination of the College of Pathologists of South Africa.

Requirements

Part I: - Completed 18 months full time training as a Registrar in an accredited Anatomical Pathology teaching laboratory
Part II: - Completed 30 months full time training as a Registrar in an accredited Oral Pathology Division or Department

PORTFOLIO
From the second semester 2014 the submission of your Portfolio at the time of making your application is compulsory for all candidates who entered into their Registrar post from 1 January 2011.
